These models were for a Hyundai TV ad showing their concepts in a near future.
The car was based on a super luxury car they built for a car show.
The monorail was our design and I kind of went a little Thunderbirds with it.
These were all shot with motion control and were pulled on a wire or rig from behind.
The satellite was very much a generic design.
The client kept asking for more foil to be put on it.
The shuttle was supposed to be a souped up NASA shuttle, so we made it longer and added more fins.
I added engines similar to the Russian design so it could have powered flight on re-entry.
They wanted a flying car so I came up with this based on a 'wing-in-ground-effect' flying boat.
For those eagle eyes, this model was recently re-used in the Gerry Anderson Firestorm test shoot.
The towers were acrylic boxes covered in etched brass mesh to give a window look on a glass tower.
Again, all shot motion control.
